WORKFLOW AUTOMATION / SMALL BUSINESSES, WORLDWIDE

Less passing things.
More moving forward.

When the same information keeps moving between inboxes, spreadsheets and business tools, there may be a better handoff. We connect workflows around a clear trigger, a useful result and the people who remain responsible.

What could
move forward?

  • 01Route a new inquiry to the right place
  • 02Keep records consistent across tools
  • 03Prepare work for a person to approve
01 / THE THINKING

Map the process before connecting it.

A reliable automation begins with what happens today. We identify the trigger, information required, decisions made along the way and the person who owns the outcome. Exceptions matter as much as the usual path: missing information, duplicate requests and unavailable tools need a defined response.

We can start with one handoff rather than replacing an entire process. That makes the result easier to check and helps reveal whether the underlying workflow is ready to be automated.

02 / THE THINKING

Keep people at the right decisions.

Some steps are useful to automate directly; others should prepare a draft or wait for approval. Customer communications, unusual requests and decisions with meaningful consequences can have a human review point built into the workflow.

AI-assisted steps need explicit boundaries around their inputs and outputs. We agree what data can be used, which tools receive it and how uncertain results are handled. A sample workflow is tested before it is connected to live business activity.

03 / THE THINKING

Plan for the day a connection fails.

Integrations depend on permissions, service limits and systems that can change. The implementation scope should include failure reporting, retry behavior and protection against repeating an action unintentionally.

We agree who monitors the workflow and how it can be paused or handled manually. Tool subscriptions, access ownership and maintenance are discussed separately so that the process has an operator after launch.

BEFORE WE BEGIN

Useful
questions.

Can our current tools be connected?

We check the actual products, subscription levels and available APIs or integration options. Access and usage limits can affect the design, so compatibility is confirmed during scoping.

Does every automation need AI?

No. Clear rules and direct integrations are often enough. An AI-assisted step is considered when it serves a defined job and its output can be reviewed or checked appropriately.

What is a good first workflow?

Choose a repeated process with a clear trigger, reasonably consistent information and an identifiable owner. An inquiry handoff or a record update is often easier to define than a process with many exceptions.
